Abstract Submission Deadline

The Scientific Committee of the Congress has set the abstract submission deadline as May 18, 2025.

Abstract System Entry and Registration
To submit your abstract or register, please click on the "Submit Abstract Online" button above.

If you are using the online abstract module for the first time, please register by clicking the “New User” link.

After registering, the instructions on the page will assist you. Please read all the messages and instructions carefully.

Abstracts and Uploading to the System
Abstracts must be submitted online via the congress website at www.istanbulliver.net Submissions sent via email or post, independent of the system, will not be accepted.

​

Abstracts will be submitted under the topics of oral presentation, poster presentation, and case-based or educational topics. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide whether to accept abstracts as oral presentations or electronic posters.

​

The character limit for abstract submission (excluding references, tables, and figure captions) is 3500 characters. The system will not allow submission if the character count exceeds this limit.

​

The title should clearly reflect the content of the study.

​​

Oral abstract submissions should be original research, structured as “objective, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion” (case reports and abstracts including images should not be submitted in the oral presentation category).

​

Poster abstract submissions can be research, case presentations, or educational posters.

​

Research poster abstracts should be structured as "objective, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion," case report abstracts should be structured as "introduction, case presentation, discussion, and conclusion," and abstracts with images should be structured as "introduction (learning objectives), imaging methods and findings, discussion, and conclusion."

​

When submitting the abstract, at least 5 images (and/or tables) related to the presented topic must be uploaded. The evaluation committee will consider these criteria when making decisions on acceptance or rejection.

​

After submitting your abstract, please save the confirmation emails you receive at your email address.

You can follow all evaluation processes regarding your abstract through the system with your email and password.

​

Writing Guidelines
Academic titles should not be used in author names.

​

Names should be written in lowercase letters, with only the first letter capitalized.

Example: Mehmet Yılmaz

​

The name and address of the institution where the authors work must be provided.

Example: Xxxx University Faculty of Medicine, Xxxx Department, İzmir

​

Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized (abbreviations are exceptions).

Example: Xxxxx xxxx xxxxxx xxxxx xxx XXX xxxx xxxx

​

If abbreviations are used in the abstract, the full form of the abbreviation must be provided in parentheses at first use.

​

Since the abstracts submitted online will be printed exactly as submitted, please ensure there are no spelling mistakes.

​

Evaluation of Abstracts and Notification of Results
The evaluation will be carried out by the Abstract Evaluation Committee, keeping the authors’ names and institutions confidential.

​

After the evaluation by the reviewers, the decision on whether the abstract is accepted or rejected will be communicated via email in June.

​

Important Notice Regarding Congress Registration for Abstract Submitters
For oral presentations, the presenter must be registered for the congress by the date specified in the acceptance letter. For posters, at least one author listed on the abstract must be registered by the specified date.

​

Abstracts for authors who do not register by this date will not be included in the congress abstract book.

Poster Presentation Guidelines
The posters will be 70 cm (width) and 90 cm (height) and will be mounted vertically. (Double-sided
tape will be available for mounting the Posters)
